If you lose your job?

If you lose your job؟

Sometimes human thinks that a stable and happy in his work, which he loves, and that the salary earned enough needs, and thus was not looking for another job.
However, market conditions and the successive economic crises no longer allow for a feeling of tranquility and stability in the work, and therefore may be exposed to the demobilization of your business at any moment ... If you do not keep in mind this, do not feel you're ready to face such a thing, you have to read this topic to learn from him on the steps you must follow if you lose your job unexpectedly.

If you lose your job?

Six steps you need to follow if you lose your job:

1 - left the Organization properly:
When your Manager tell you the decision to dispense with your services, whether for a change in the nature of the work, or to poor economic conditions, or even alleged failure to work or not to merge with your colleagues, the first feeling is sadness .. And perhaps anger, but any bad reaction would be doing at the time it strongly harm to you in the next stage of your career, so you have to remain silent and to deal with the matter quietly.
2 - Do not be naive:
If you are asked by your manager  sign any legal memorandum, do not sign immediately, but ask them a copy of the note and read it carefully, and if you find some of the items of concern to you, consult some legal experts in this regard.
3 - Do not stop yourself from expressing what is inside you:
Of course you'll need after this shock to express their emotions, especially because you have not done so at the meeting in which it has been notified of the decision without you, but you have to choose a suitable environment for this output feelings, your home as example .. Ask for the support of close friends or family members who understand your situation well .. Do not apply for other functions test before they go beyond this crisis psychologically, do not correspond to potential managers generally angry or desperate.
4 - Finish your accounts with your previous organization:
Of course, will try to meet the legitimate requests of organization o not even raised a fuss if you have a complaint to the responsible authorities in the case deprive you of your rights and literary material when you leave work.
You can claim up financial "compensation" match the number of years spent organization  and does not allow them to Decrease your financial rights .. As well as ask them to another financial compensation for the remaining days of vacations you and you did not get them over the last year.
Do not forget to get official certificates from the company of your years of experience and promotions obtained while you are out, so be helpful when applying for a new job.
You can also, if you enjoy good relations with your Manager, asking them to help you in applying for jobs with other companies working in the same field and need as new employees.
5 - spent wisely and avoid falling into financial distress:
Of course, will enter a phase of unemployment until you find a new job, and the risk here is that your expenses will not be frozen as salary was frozen, and therefore you will have to spend precisely during that period .. Abandon course of procurement entertainment that you demonstrate them yourself while you get a fixed salary, and reduce expenses to a minimum .. You can also put compensation that you obtained in project profitable earns you some money on a monthly basis, or invested in the bank so that it can exploit the profits in your expenses so that you can find a new job.
If, however, the monthly money  to win is not enough for your expenses, you can search for a job temporarily part-time income to help you in your search for a new job.

6 - Be open to different opportunities:

If offered you a job in the field than the one that specialized in it, means is that the employer sees that your capabilities entitle you to complete this work fully, you are here to trust yourself and abilities, and remind yourself always in front of you and the time to learn, and that this new domain that fear now may be is your specialty, who donated it if I trained enough.
I know that the successive economic crises have made many people lose their business regardless of their competencies and you are not an exception to this rule, and that if your main domain is not currently profitable, you should immediately enter into a new area according to the needs of the labor market.

One of the film's producers abuser of the Prophet Muhammad converts to Islam

Why I converted to Islam: Van Doorn

Arnaud Van Doorn, former member of an anti-Islamic party of Netherlands has given his reasons for conversion to Islam, and reactions by his co-partisans after his conversion, and Western accusations against Islam and his own recommendations to atheists.

The news about the conversion to Islam of Arnaud Van Doorn, former vice-chairman for Geert Wilders, famous Dutch anti-Islam politician, has great reverberations on the media.

Geert Wilders is famous for muslims through his PVV party notorious movie, Fitna, which has been commissioned against Prophet of Islam and Geerts had insulted Islam.

However, Mr. Arnaud, through studying Islamic sources, ultimately decided on conversion and posted in his Twitter page his ‘proclamation of his faith’ in Arabic and surprised everybody.

Arnaud, 46, is a well-mannered and gentle individual, and believes that Islamophobia in Europe emanates from Western media and governments attempts to present a dark image of Islam, and if people in Europe knew how Islam was beautiful and wise, they would inevitably have been converted.

In an interview to MNA English service, Arnaud expressed his interest to travel to Iran and other Islamic countries. He said he was looking forward to see Isfahan, Shiraz, and Qum.

Now the interview:

Question: If possible, first, let's talk a little about your reasons for accepting Islam. What happened that you’ve chosen to convert to Islam?

MNA: I have studied the Quran based on curiosity, starting about a year ago (after I left the PVV). Before that I’ve only heard negative stories about Islam. The more I was reading (also Sunnah, Hadith, etc.) the more I was convinced that the Islam is actually a beautiful and wise religion. I have had a religious education as a Christian, so I shared already a lot of values. It is easier to convert from a Christian to Islam then from a “non believer” because I was known with the profets, the angels and the discipline that is necessary within any religion.

MNA: You were a member of a party that is known to be an anti-Islamic party, and even a film was made against the Prophet by the party ordering. While it seems that such parties have not acquired an exact knowledge of Islam, why they have taken such a stance on Islam?

Van Doorn: I have never been “extreme right”, neither is the PVV in fact. But I had -like many people- prejudges about Muslims. Like they are all fanatics, oppressing women, intolerant and hostile against the Western society and violant. Wilders as a person is a friendly and amiable men. Some of his points like critics on the EU, the financial system, and the crisis are valid in my opinion. But I do not share his negative vision of the Islam and the Arabic World. It is stigmatizing all Muslims. Creating fear and polarising is an easy way to mobilise people, as it appeals on their “gut feeling”, prejudges and bias.

MNA: After converting to Islam, what was the reaction of your former co-workers in the party?

Van Doorn: I have not spoken with Geert Wilders since I left the PVV. I don’t know. I have had no feedback what so ever. As you leave the PVV you are basically “non excisting” anymore. Former colleagues are scared to have contact with me. It is not good for their career within the PVV if they do. (…)

MNA: If you were to invite a non-Muslim to Islam, what are the most important features that you would refer to?

Van Doorn: As I said before: study Islam, step over your prejudges, and you will see that the Islam is actually a beautiful and very pure religion, with a great history and high standards. We take care for each other in prosperity and adversity. It gives innerpeace and wisdom, and it deepends your spiritual live. Life is more than money and materialism (the typical “western success factor”). You will become a stronger and better person.

MNA: In the West, Islam is generally accused of promoting terrorism, anti-human rights issues or maltreatment of women. What is your response to these charges?

Van Doorn: Again: prejudgement is the cause, based on lack of knowledge. You can find fanatics in any religion, all over the world. Unfortunately the 1% fanatics are showed on tv and other newsmedia, and their influence is magnified. 99% of the Muslims is hardworking and peaceable. If more people will study the true Islam, the more people will see the beauty of it.

MNA: What do you think about the reasons behind some efforts to promote atheism in the world and what is your advice to those who are hesitant between belief and disbelief?

Van Doorn: I can only guess. The Western influencials and most politicians don’t like religion in any form. The less people belief, the more people are depending of other values, like economy, money, consumption and material prosperity. Western industrials want people basically to consume, instead of searching for inner strength. “Spending and consuming” should by the standard for happyness. “Believers” are stronger and less dependent of those issues. It is not in the interest of politicians and other influencials that people should become more independent of them and develop other insights. This is also what I tell them who are hesistant between belief and disbelief.

Finally:

I like to travel. I have been in Morocco (climbing the Toubkal in the snow), Algeria, Jordan and Egypt. I have friends in many countries. In june I am going to Iran accompanying a friend who is cycling around the world for 5 years. We will start at Shiraz, and we will cycle 2000 km across Iran into Turkey. I am looking forward to see Shiraz, Esfahan and Qom.

How to Deal With Non-Muslim Parents?

How to Deal With Non-Muslim Parents?

I am a revert, al-hamdu lillah (all praise to Allah). I want to know how I have to treat my parents and what are my duties towards them if they don't stop me from following Islam. Because according to Islam every person has to respect and take care of his or her parents. Does this also apply to a Muslim with non-Muslim parents?

How to Deal With Non-Muslim Parents?

How to Deal With Non-Muslim Parents?

How to Deal With Non-Muslim Parents?

If your parents are more or less accepting of your decision to be a Muslim, you are very blessed. They may not totally understand your decision, and they may not be totally happy with it. However, if they are not fighting with you or trying to prevent you from practicing Islam, you have a much smoother road ahead of you.

We Muslims should be gentle and kind to our parents. We should always treat them with respect and obey them in any reasonable request that does not go against the teachings of Islam. This is not always easy to do, especially for those of us who were raised in societies where it is common for young people to rebel against their parents.

Note that in at least four places, the Qur'an puts kindness to parents immediately after worship of Allah alone. The Qur'an says what means:

{And (remember) when We made a covenant with the Children of Israel, (saying): Worship none save Allah (only), and be good to parents and to kindred and to orphans and the needy, and speak kindly to mankind; and establish worship and pay the poor due. Then, after that, ye slid back, save a few of you, being averse.}(Al-Baqarah 2:83)

{And serve Allah. Ascribe no thing as partner unto Him. (Show) kindness unto parents, and unto near kindred, and orphans, and the needy, and into the neighbor who is of kin (unto you) and the neighbor who is not of kin and the fellow traveler and the wayfarer and (the slaves) whom your right hands possess. Lo! Allah loveth not such as are proud and boastful.} (An-Nisaa 4:36)

{Thy Lord hath decreed, that ye worship none save Him, and (that ye show) kindness to parents. If one of them or both of them to attain old age with thee, say not "Fie" unto them nor repulse them, but speak unto them a gracious word.} (Al-Israa 17:23)

{And it was said unto his son): O John! Hold the Scripture. And We gave him wisdom when a child, and compassion from Our presence, and purity; and he was devout, and dutiful toward his parents. And he was not arrogant, rebellious.} (Maryam 19:12-14)

{And We have enjoined upon man concerning his parents. His mother beareth him in weakness upon weakness, and his weaning is in two years. Give thanks unto Me and unto thy parents. Unto Me is the journeying. But if they strive with thee to make thee ascribe unto Me as partner that of which thou hast no knowledge, then obey them not. Consort with them in the world kindly, and follow the path of him who repenteth unto Me. Then unto Me will be your return, and I shall tell you what ye used to do.} (Luqman 31:14-15)

Note that these last three verses are addressed to mankind, not just to Muslims. And in none of these verses is there anything to indicate that kindness is only to Muslim parents. Even if our parents try to make us ascribe partners to Allah, we are told to treat them kindly.

There is also a hadith that tells us that Asma' bint Abi Bakr was visited in Madinah by her pagan mother. This was at a time when the pagan Quraish had a treaty with the Muslims. Asma' asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) how she should treat her mother. He instructed her to treat her mother kindly. He (peace be upon him) said: "Yes, do an act of kindness to her" (Al-Bukhari, Muslim and Abu Dawud).

So you see, sister, your parents still deserve respect and kindness, even if they don't follow your beliefs. Love them, listen respectfully to them, but don't obey them if they tell you to do something that is against Islam. Help them and even share their joys and sorrows with them. Remember that one of the best forms of da`wah(inviting people to Islam) is through your example.

**************************************************************

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

All praise and thanks are due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger.
Thank you for your good question and your interest to know Islam's teachings towards your parents though they are non-Muslims.
Indeed, Islam gives a high priority to the relationship between children and parents by ordaining the children to obey their parents, including non-Muslim parents. Muslim children are ordained not only to obey and treat well their parents, but they are also prohibited to irk them with even a minor sound as a sign of irritation.
In one of these divine orders Allah Almighty says in the Qur'an, (And make yourself submissively gentle to them with compassion, and say: O my Lord! have compassion on them, as they brought me up (when I was) little.) (Al-Israa’ 17: 23)
The Sunnah also highly asserts this; `Abdullah ibn Mas`ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "I asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), "What is the best of deeds?" He said, "Prayers at their due time", I said, "What next?" He said, "Filial dutifulness, (i.e. dutifulness to parents)", I asked, "What next?" He said, "Jihad." (Al-Bukhari)
Responding to your question, Sheikh Gamal Qutb, the Ex-Head of the Fatwa Committee at Al-Azhar Ash-Shareef, stated,
Parents, whether Muslims or not, have the same rights upon their children including: respect, reverence, obedience, love, and spending if they are in need. Allah the Exalted ordained Muslim children to have the best behavior towards their parents even if they were non-Muslims. He Almighty says in the Qur'an, (And if they contend with you that you should associate with Me what you have no knowledge of, do not obey them, and keep company with them in this world kindly, and follow the way of him who turns to Me, then to Me is your return, then will I inform you of what you did.) (Luqman 31: 15)
It is clear in this verse that children have to keep the best relation to their parents (keep company with them in this world kindly), even if they are struggling to lead them astray. However, they must disobey them only when ordered to abandon their faith or to become pagans.
As for the Sunnah, Asma' bint Abi-Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her) said, "My mother (the divorcee of Abu-Bakr) came to visit me during the covenant between the Prophet and Quraysh. Then I asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saying, "My mother came to me desirous, can I communicate with her?" He said, "Yes, make good your relation with your mother." (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)
Given the above, it becomes very clear that you should have the best treatment towards your parents even if they are non-Muslims, as the children owe them a great debt, (of course not a financial debt), and they have to repay some of these debts especially in their old age.
